Who are EBC's Leaders?
Pastor Matt and Mar are Connecticution’s through and through. Pastor Matt lived in Windsor, CT his whole life and Mar grew up in Danbury CT. Both were saved at an
early age and met in Junior High at a Christian School. After earning their undergraduate degrees from Bob Jones University Matt and Mar were married in 2005 and God has blessed them with three children.
After 10 years of working as a Tax Accountant, Pastor Matt began a real estate company in 2015. It was
during this time that God began shaping, directing, and orchestrating a desire to answer the call to the ministry in 2019.
After submitting to this call, he began to pursue Seminary while serving as an assistant Pastor of his home church. After completing his Seminary work in 2023, Pastor Matt answered the call to be the head Pastor of EBC. Pastor Matt loves reading, exercising, watching UCONN basketball, and spending time with his family, but he considers his true passion to be following Christ and sharing that passion with others through the expositional preaching of God’s Word.
